Duck Sauce curate their first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix since 2013 – Dancing Astronaut
For the first time in seven years, Duck Sauce have returned to BBC Radio 1 to submit their newest Essential Mix. For the mix, A-Trak and Armand Van Helden dive deep into dance music history, pulling up gems from the likes of The Egyptian Lover and World Class Wrecking Crew. Of course, tracks from Duck Sauce’s recent resurgence are sprinkled throughout the mix, including their first track to receive a music video in more than half a decade, “Mesmerize.”
The Essential Mix caps off a big week for Armand Van Helden, who released The Answer with Chris Lake. Meanwhile, A-Trak teamed up with Dave 1 for a The Brothers Macklovitch remix of SG Lewis‘ “Feed The Fire.” Listen to Duck Sauce’s two-hour long mix on BBC Radio 1’s website.
