Good Morning Mix: Watch Galantis ring in 2020, live from Countdown NYE – Dancing Astronaut

On December 31, 2019, Insomniac‘s Countdown NYE festival ushered in the new year from Southern California’s NOS Events Center in what no one would have then guessed to be one of the last major US festivals of 2020. The extraterrestrial-themed festival spread a stack of top-notch talent across four stages, and among them were Galantis. Shortly after the clock struck midnight, the Swedish duo assumed the position behind the decks of the Mothership stage for a high energy set that would provide a formidable opening to 2020. The rest, as they say, is history.

Although 2020 is admittedly a year that many would like to put in the past as swiftly as possible, Galantis’ Countdown NYE showing, saturated with catalog staples such as “Runaway,” “Love On Me,” and “No Money,” was one of the year’s few highlights from a live music perspective. Relive it below.
