Hot Since 82 performs ‘Recovery’ set from hot air balloon [Watch] – Dancing Astronaut
Hot Since 82 is no stranger to exotic DJ locations. The Knee Deep In Sound head man has performed everywhere from an Ibiza pirate ship to a Croatian rooftop, but his latest locale is his most adventurous yet. Following Ben Böhmer’s lead, Hot Since 82 took to the skies in a hot air balloon to spin an hour of new tracks high above the countryside.
The special set was a celebration of Hot Since 82’s debut album Recovery, which landed on November 27. The hour-long tracklist is scored exclusively with Recovery cuts, marking the Yorkshireman’s first live performance of the record. Despite a bit of a bumpy landing, the rousing set highlights the veteran artist’s proficiency at both mixing and producing. Watch the set below, and learn more about Recovery here.
