PREMIERE: Fairlane & sad alex team up to give “nature” the melodic bass version it deserved

sad alex originally released her song “nature” in 2019 as part of her songs that you’ll probably never hear EP. Now, it’s been given new life as part of a collaboration with Fairlane.

Bringing alex’s original acoustic into the EDM realm was an easy transition with the beautiful melody already in place, but Fairlane simply took it to another level. Adding an additional intro track was a unique move, separating it from the actual track itself. It’s soft and alluring in its simplicity, removed from the massive EDM bass and chords of the drop.

But when we do get to that part, it’s all the wonderful melodic bass that we could ever want. Seamlessly transitioning with the delicate guitar, alex’s voice comes in like an angel. The drums signal a different sound coming in next, and the swelling rhythm and melody lead into the drop with a dazzling intensity.
