SLANDER and William Black share highly anticipated ‘Back To U’ remix package – Dancing Astronaut
Earlier this year, Los Angeles-based duo and Gud Vibrations labelheads SLANDER released a highly-anticipated collaboration with vocalist William Black titled “Back To U.” Now, the track receives a diverse remix package, joining a stacked year of releases from SLANDER including NGHTMRE collaboration ‘Feelin Gud’, Svdden Death-assisted single ‘Blood On Me’, and full remix looks for “Love Is Gone,” “Potions,” and “Heart Break.”
A testament to SLANDER’s affinity for giving underground acts a platform to shine, Back To U (Remixes) sees Matrix & Futurebound, Fairlane, Control Freak, Mazare, and Topi put their own unique spin on the original. Matrix & Futurebound’s bright drum ‘n’ bass take opens the collection, followed closely by an airy pop-influenced remix from Fairlane. A standout performance comes from rising teenage producer and Disciple Records member Control Freak, whose trap style highlights the artist’s impressive sound design capabilities.
