Truth x Lies give wings to latest tech house heater, ‘Work’ – Dancing Astronaut

After previously attaching their name to Dirtybird, IN/ROTATION, Sans Merci, Space Yacht, and Holy Molé, Truth x Lies continue to expand their library of label releases with an outing on CID‘s Night Service Only, “Work.” With their feet firmly planted on tech house terrain, Truth x Lies lay the hearty pulse of “Work’s” bassline under vocal commands from Slim Dymondz.

“Work,” which supplants “The Drip” as Truth x Lies’ latest single, makes it difficult to believe that the New York-grounded duo cut their teeth on deep house, or anything other than tech house, for that matter. That, of course, is as clear an illustration of Truth x Lies studio dexterity, on full display below.
