ODESZA let loose ‘The Final Goodbye’ visible [Watch] – Dancing Astronaut

Barrelling by means of 2022 with a brand new period of sound, ODESZA have debuted the accompanying music video for “The Final Goodbye,” their first authentic monitor since September 2018 “Loyal.”

Paying homage to Bettye LaVette—whose 1965 song, “Let Me Down Easy,” “The Last Goodbye” samples— the visual begins with an enlarged screen projection of Mrs. LaVette singing the reference track. Performing passionately in front of the screen are ODESZA’s Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, who intermittently jam out on the modular synth, piano, and guitar throughout the video. Eva Walker and Garret Hopper are also featured on the bass and drums, respectively. Directed by Sean Kusanagi, the namesake of ODESZA’s In Return inclusion, “Kusanagi,” “The Final Goodbye” video will be considered beneath.
