Firefly Music Competition Organizers Announce 2023 Cancellation
After celebrating its tenth anniversary final month, Firefly Music Competition won't return in 2023.
The famed Delaware pageant won't transfer ahead in 2023 with a view to "take a yr to recharge our lights," in response to an announcement launched by its organizers. The announcement did say the fest will return in 2024.
Since its inaugural occasion in 2012, Firefly has remained a staple within the Northeast music pageant scene. The pageant grew to become so profitable that it was in the end acquired by AEG, the leisure big who runs Coachella, in 2018.
This yr's fest celebrated a decade of Firefly with high-profile performances by Halsey, My Chemical Romance, Inexperienced Day, Dua Lipa, Porter Robinson, Seven Lions, Jamie xx and extra.
