The Gilligan Moss challenge is a testomony to the achievements potential over a  lifelong friendship and artistic partnership, with bandmates Ben and Evan having met at Park West preschool in Chicago at age three.  Seeing their musical brainchild come to fruition since making music collectively in 2015, the duo has written their very own originals and remixed the works of others.  The duo has toured with the likes of Glass Animals, Vacationer, Toro Y Moi, and Chromeo, and have seen themselves booked on lineups of many main festivals across the nation. 

Lighthearted in its essence, the music they produce is joyful and constructed over a shared love of dance music, drawing a variety of influences outdated and new.  Their newest single, “The Destroyer,” is not any totally different, emanating emotions of bliss and marvel from begin to end that earned the stamp of approval from ODESZA’s Household Overseas Collective imprint. Their expertise within the studio continues to shine, because the duo weave soulful samples overtop a thumping 90’s esque J Dilla beat.
