"I used to be residing on my own in London, and it was the darkest time within the pandemic," Polachek stated of the track's lyrics. Palaces is Flume's first full-length challenge since 2019's scintillating Hello This Is Flume mixtape. The album is slated to launch on Could twentieth by way of Flume's longtime label, Future Basic.
