Simply in time for the weekend, Mary Droppinz has dropped a cool new EP, Too Candy.
Out now through Zed Lifeless’s Altered States label, the three-track EP finds Droppinz producing soulful information that smolder with fiery tinctures of psychedelia and old-school funk breaks.
Impressed by a want to counteract apathy within the music business, Too Candy is a reminder to not take life too critically. The EP and its vibrant imagery are stuffed with cheeky, colourful references and upbeat home music flavors. Take a hear beneath.

"when i wrote ‘too candy’ my ideas had been about how jaded and bitter some individuals are within the music business and that’s simply not me so i needed to provide you slightly spoonful of sugar via sound to clear the collective jadedness that i’ve witnessed in my time as a dj/producer," Droppinz wrote in an Instagram put up. "life is really too candy and there’s no level in taking it too critically my gosh!"
Now with a second EP beneath the belt, Droppinz is ready to complete the 12 months with a string of reside performances, together with one at this weekend’s Dirtybird Campout and one other at Colorado's famed Purple Rocks Amphitheatre later this month.
