Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol to headline new competition The World Is A Vampire

Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol are set to headline a brand new competition in Mexico known as The World Is A Vampire.

The primary version of the brand new occasion will come to Mexico Metropolis from March 6-9, 2023 and in addition function Turnstile, Peter Hook, Deafheaven and extra.

The brand new competition comes on the again of Smashing Pumpkins’ new three-part opera album ‘ATUM’.

Following on from 2020’s ‘CYR’, Smashing Pumpkins’ forthcoming 33-song “rock opera” album ‘ATUM’ serves as a sequel to the band’s traditional double data ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Unhappiness’ (1995) and ‘Machina/The Machines Of God’ (2000).

Chatting with NME lately, Corgan mentioned: “If you resolve to do a three-act, 33-song rock musical in 2022… you’re positively stepping in it! As a result of there’s lots of people who imagine much less is extra nowadays. I’m on the other aspect – I truly suppose extra is extra!”
