Alison Wonderland explores album themes in ‘Loner’ graphic novel

Forward of gracing the Fremont Stage at Life is Lovely 2022, Alison Wonderland introduced a model new illustrative endeavor. Coining it “the good factor [she’s] launched shortly,” Loner—the official graphic novel—visually transcribes the foundational themes mirrored within the veteran producer’s identically named third studio album. Alison Wonderland took to Instagram to unfold the phrase on the brand new mission:

“‘Loner’ my graphic novel is on sale now. I obtained to delve deeper into my album’s themes of loss, evolving, pulling myself out of the darkness, turning my weak spot into one thing extraordinarily highly effective and never settling for unhappiness.”

The “One thing Actual” singer went on to reward the efforts of the seven visible artists who contributed to the impeccably detailed, texturally wealthy hardcover—previewing slides of the gathering. Produced in tandem with Z2 Comics, which boasts earlier collaborations with the likes of Gorillaz and YUNGBLUD, Loner the graphic novel is now available for pre-sale, scheduled to be shipment-ready in January 2023.
