Dylan Matthew, Nitti Gritti debut on Monstercat with ‘Drive You Loopy’ – Dancing Astronaut

“Malibu, the seashore, summer time love, nostalgia, and California.” Dylan Matthew and Nitti Gritti‘s debut collaboration, “Drive You Loopy” is a sandy, sun-kissed cocktail of summer time and West Coast affect supposed to soundtrack hands-in-the-air drives in a topless Jeep, the ocean’s rush towards one’s toes, and every little thing in between. Vocal-centric and ruggedly textured with pop-punk guitar chords, “Drive You Loopy” has a heat, easygoing character that stands in stark distinction to a few of Nitti Gritti’s brasher dance/digital works. The Dancing Astronaut Supernova and SIDEPIECE constituent translate this character to a visible accompaniment that casts Matthew as the motive force of an ice cream truck.
