Ted Gardner, who co-founded Chicago's iconic Lollapalooza competition alongside Jane’s Dependancy frontman Perry Farrell, has died on the age of 74. He handed away on December twenty eighth, 2021 after battling an unspecified sickness, Pollstar experiences.
Previous to launching Lollapalooza, Gardner was the full-time supervisor of Jane's Dependancy beginning in 1989. He and Farrell in 1991 went on to host the inaugural competition, which was reportedly arrange on the time as a farewell tour for the band.
