On New “DREAM SOUP” Album, Mindchatter Muses on the Inevitability of “Cosmic Slush” – EDM.com
From the very first notes of his sophomore album, DREAM SOUP, Mindchatter evokes an uneasy thematic distinction between the ego and the corporeal, identification and notion.
"I forgot who I used to be. I want that that may final, however now I am again," he croons over luscious bass beats on DREAM SOUP's opening monitor, "Human Form."
A pattern of an individual's heavy respiration lays beneath these lyrics, seemingly bracing themselves for what's to return: "My pores and skin is admittedly clay. I mould myself to human form for practicality," Mindchatter moodily muses.
It has been simply three years since Mindchatter launched his debut single, "Trippy." Now, with DREAM SOUP, out by way of Thoughts of a Genius, we see him all grown up, gently probing the true nature of the self on every of the undertaking's 13 indietronica tracks.
