The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach to direct documentary movie about Dr. John

Dan Auerbach is to make his directorial debut with a documentary characteristic movie concerning the lifetime of legendary late New Orleans musician Dr. John.

The Black Keys frontman, who produced Dr. John’s 2012 album ‘Locked Down’, will helm UNTITLED DR. JOHN, made in partnership with RadicalMedia and Influence Artist Productions. At present, there isn't any affirmation of a launch date.
